So, something a bit old, but it's something, right? I'd been meaning to post this here for a while, but it just... spaced my mind. Anyway, back in January, Equestria Daily had a mini Artist Training Grounds event, this time with a different sort of spin on it. There was a little ongoing story that Phoe wrote, and the themes were all based around that. It was a very transitional time for me, and as a result, I was only able to finish 3 of the 5 pictures during the event, but I did eventually go back and finish the last two. For whatever reason, I got it in my head to make them all featuring background ponies, all be based on a singular color theme, and all featuring ponies in different sorts of armor. I also avoided showing their eyes until the last day, because it seemed significant at the time. Anyway, I compiled them all into one image, since I did have sort of a running theme going on. I like how they look together, mostly.
Here's a list of the themes, for the record: Day One: Draw a pony in armor Day Two: Draw a pony in training Day Three: Draw a pony dueling Day Four: Draw a pony on a rescue mission Day Five: Draw a pony coming home
Very nice. Love the art style you've employed here. Agree that this looks like some pony RPG that needs to happen, although I am also reminded of some of the adventure animes also. Panel 2 in particular reminds me of Outlaw Star. I think it might be the color schemes invoked.

I'm probably wrong though...
But nonetheless very good work
And thank you!
I can get behind that.
